Welcome to Sojourner Truth Ministries

Mission History

Sojourner Truth Ministries was born in 1999 as a vision of the Reverend Larry Cole and many others. The ministry was originally supported by the following founding churches; Faxon-Kenmar, Third Street, Calavery, Grace, High Street, Wesley and Newberry United Medthodist Churches. The Ministry came to its current location when High Street and Wesley Churches merged, making the former High Street Methodist Church available.

Volunteer Appreciation Dinner

On Sunday, Aug. 22 2010 we held our annual "Volunteer Appreciation Dinner". Maple Street AME Zion Church graciously allowed us to use their facilities. The Board of Directors provided all of the food, and Dawn White led us in singing praise songs. Kathy Marcello read a story about the life of Sojourner Truth, and a good time was had by all.

We recognized those who, during the past year, volunteered their time, their talents and their pocketbooks for our ministry.
